All Australians would be extremely grateful to the French for the way they have kept the cemetery grounds in perfect order.We met with Philippe Quignon a local farmer in the Amiens district, who showed us several of his small cropping operations and discussed issues facing their soil make up and their ability to mine chalk from under their pastures.

and travelled under the English Channel into London - King's Cross; where we caught a connecting train north to Edinburgh Scotland.
